What we collect
Google account info
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. This is standard OAuth — it's how your account gets created and how your name and avatar appear on the platform.
Content you post
Your posts, manga pages, comments, and messages. You decide what to share.
Basic usage data
Things like which pages you visit and your device type (browser, screen size). This helps us figure out what's broken and what to improve.
What we use it for
- Keeping your login secure
- Showing your profile to other users
- Running posts, messaging, notifications, and feeds
- Finding and fixing issues with the platform
- Catching spam and abuse
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. Full stop. Your information stays with us and won't be handed off to anyone for money.
We don't run targeted ads. Your information is never used to serve you advertisements on or off the platform.
We don't track you elsewhere. We only collect data within Manganichijo itself. No cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics cookies following you around.
Google Sign-In
We use Google to handle authentication. When you sign in, Google shares your profile information with us based on the permissions you grant. Google's own Privacy Policy covers how they handle your data before it reaches us.
You can revoke our access at any time through your Google account permissions. You'll need to re-authorize to sign in again.
Public content
Posts on Manganichijo are public by default. Other users can see them, and they may appear in explore feeds, trending topics, and search results. Keep that in mind before sharing anything personal.
Direct messages stay private between you and the people in the conversation.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual posts from your profile anytime. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us. You can also revoke Google access through your Google settings. Account deletion removes everything from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe.
Security
We use encrypted connections, secure authentication, and access-controlled databases. Nothing is bulletproof, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Age
Manganichijo is not for users under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as the platform grows. We'll announce significant updates within the app. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
